B. Wrong, the atypical nests were composed only of squamous epithelium with no ameloblastic differentiation. Nests that are residual from the predisposing ameloblastoma showed no signs of atypia.
C. Wrong, there was no connection with surface epithelium, as well as many follicles showed the ameloblastic differentiation.
Right, note the proliferation of islands and small nests of atypical squamous epithelium with minimal keratinization. It could arise from a predisposing odontogenic cyst or tumor. In this case, it appeared to be arisen from a predisposing conventional ameloblastoma.
