CRTC1::MAML2 fusion is the most molecular event used in MEC diagnosis.
B. Wrong, HCCC characterized by nests and cords of clear cells and eosinophilic cells in a hyalinized or desmoplastic stroma. It is the main differential diagnosis for clear cell MEC, however mucin filled cystic spaces are not one of HCCC features.
