A. Wrong, There was no atypical cellular features. As well as, the lesion was expansile with thinning of the cortices and well-defined borders.
B. Wrong, The lesion was fibro-osseous, with the presence of numerous trabeculae of osteoid. Administration of intra-lesional steroid is helpful in management of central giant cell granuloma cases.
C. Right, The lesion was formed of trabeculae of osteoid that were densely rimmed by osteoblasts in a hypercellular fibrous stroma. Areas of hemorrhage and numerous osteoclasts could be also seen representing aneurysmal changes. The young age of the patient and the well-defined picture in the radiograph are essential diagnostic features of this lesion.
