B. Wrong, myoepithelial carcinoma can arise from pleomorphic adenoma and contains areas of hyalinized or myxoid stroma, HOWEVER the carcinoma in this case was composed of apocrine cells with the prominent roman bridges arrangement which is not a feature of myoepithelial carcinoma.
C. Wrong, the atypical cells in this case were apocrine not squamous with no keratin formation. Moreover, the cystic part didn’t show any epithelial lining.
Right, note the areas of myxoid and fibroid stroma with intercalated duct like structures and nests of epidermoid cells embedded in it. While in other areas, nests of apocrine cells showing roman bridges were detected with prominent cellular atypia indicating the arise of SALIVARY DUCT CARCINOMA from a previous pleomorphic adenoma.
